Wild Week!

Well I'm as hot as a firefly in summer!
Its getting really hot and the humidity has just settled in and we are sweatin like cows. Its fun tho. This week was really wild, i was up in west Frankfurt Illinois and Foxcroft Illinois this week. We have a companionship that is about to go MMA on each other so i went up there for a while. We got things straightened out and now they are on their way to having some great success. we met up in the middle between the two areas and ended up in Vienna Illinois at a McDonald's and had a little chat but we forgot something so they brought it to us but they accidentally got on the freeway ramp when they weren't supposed to because it was too outta the way so i backed them down the entire freeway entrance. good publicity for the Church huh ha ha Jolley has it on camera. This weekend was really fun, we have this placed called heaven which is right where the Ohio and The Tennessee river meet, well we went and talked with a few people Saturday night and found some new investigators and caught a fish it was so wild. So just about every other day we have been teaching Larry and his family(Tasha Christina and Robert) they are so sweet but have a long way to come. We are helping them overcome their addictions and other impurities, but since day one they have progressed insurmountably. I love this family and im so sad to leave them this will have been my first family to get baptized together on my mission. but the work of the Lord goes on with or without me here. this morning we played volleyball again and it was wild. more people show up every week and now we have our stake President coming to play with us next week ha ha its gonna be so fun. Later this afternoon we are going up to Illinois to go fishing with some other missionaries. its gonna be sweet but hope ya'll have a good week and enjoy the cold weather while it lasts. Love ya'll.

It tastes so good you'll wanna slap ya'lls mama!

We hey there
So this week has been so wild. First off we had Zone Conference this week down in Murray Kentucky. It was really good. The whole focus of the conference was about Faith and the ministering of angels. Study moroni chapter 7 and it is chalked full of Faith and the ministering of angels. we got to give our traing about having the faith to find and how it relates to a four leaf clover. The entire zone got a four leaf clover from us and from that training 5 dates were set this weekend. We set 3 of them with this family. It was so sweet. Larry, Tasha, and their son Robert all agreed to get baptized on the 12th of June which is too bad that im not gonna be here but im glad that they have committed themselves to the Lord. We had the Annual Paducah Stake day of Service this saturday. We got up about 6:00 in the AM and headed to the Methodist Church for some Grub right before we started to work. I was in charge of Building a Deck and i got 3 other people to help me with it. WE almost got it all finished but we ran outta wood before we gots to the end. It was really fun, we work for about 6 hours getting everything done, Jolley was in charge of building sides for one of the trailors and makin it all pretty like. Friday we went over to The O'brians and we help Bro. O. put in his hardwood floor in his new house. we laid about 100FT of beautiful hardwood floor in about 3 hours, and then his wife who is from Russia fed us the best meal. well we got home about 5 in the PM and we had a message on our phone of a lady who said she had dinner waiting on the table for us to eat but we were still 20 minutes away, so still sweaty and dirty we went into Illinois and had dinner with sister Adams and it was phenominal but we were so full from the first meal that we were just packin it down. We left their so full. We check this out, we went over to a less actives house who we had never met and they invited us in (mom, daughter and son) well they were cooking dinner and refused to let us go until we had tried some of their spaghetti. I about passed out. but we were nice and only tried a little of it so we would not die. ha ha but this week has been really good. We are finally starting to get to know the ward. We cover 6 counties and its so hard to see all the active members cause they live so far outta town but we are getting to it. I love ya'll and hope this week has been faithfilled for ya'll. It was for me and i can't wait to see what happens here in the next couple of weeks. Love y'all.

Paducah Kentucky!!

So im leaving burgess falls tonight. President Hutchings just called me and im being emergency transfered to the Paducah Kentucky. He has to take the Zone Leaders out and Put me and Elder Jolley in as ZL's. This is super Buckwild. so now you can call the office and get my new address. Sorry to throw a wrench in your fire. i love you!

Pics from last Monday!

hey fam
There are only a couple of things that happened this week. on p-day last monday we took a trip to Burgess Falls Waterfalls. They are such a trip. They are so big and beautiful. I definately love waterfalls, we had to hike like a mile and a half to get there and then we spent about an hour there just taking pics and having a good time. There other thing that happened was on Saturday, there was this thing called the day of service. In the morning we went and we helped a lady paint the inside of her house and then helped her rake and move dirt, lay seed, and then put hay on top of it to help fertilize it, it was really nice doing service for someone that was not able to do it for herself. For some reason that brings me so much joy... just helping people do things that they are not able to do for themselves. Okay so saturday i got to save 4 lives. We went a donated blood at the church. the red cross was doing this huge blood drive and i thought i would give my blood to the bloodless. it was really nice. The lady who took it said that i bled really fast and that i have real good blood flow. but it was really good. That pic is with elder McMillan, he is from south Jordan and he was helping me with my OJ intake. but giving blood was really fun. and then the other life that we were able to save was Quinton Bengel. HE GOT BAPTIZED! it was my favorite baptism that i have had on my mission. I have never felt the spirit so strong than i did at his. His girlfriends' dad drove in from memphis to baptize him and on the way in they picked up Quintons non-member mom and brought her too. She love it. but when he was getting baptized, i have never felt so peaceful and just have never had such a strong conviction as to how it is supposed to work. I love this work. On sunday we got to confirm him in front of President Hutchings and Sister Hutchings. They were speaking to our ward yesterday. and after church he got the Aaronic Priesthood. I loved it. so... President Hutchings gave a phenominal talk in church and he talked about things we can do as christians to become better disciples of the Savior. #1. Pray for missionary experiences but be ready when you pray for them. because they will come but not when you expect them too. #2. Give meaningful service to everyone. Act, don't be acted upon. Don't wait to be asked to give service for someone. Just go and do it. and #3. Always have a book of mormon in your hand. We need to use the Book of Mormon all the time. I wanna challenge you family and anyone who reads this to carry a Book of Mormon with you always. We as members of the church are always trying to find ways to help the missionaries, well this is one. For 2 weeks i want ya'll to carry a Book of Mormon with you everywhere, for when you do, people will ask questions and when they do, Teach! then invite them to meet with the missionaries. Scary i know, but Perfect love casteth out all fear. I love ya'll and hope ya'll with take this challenge. Hope ya'll have a good week and may God bless ya'll.

Burgess Falls!

Hi fam
So Transfers are up again and we are staying the same for the last transfer. its kinda weird because we don't have a car, washer or dryer, or a dishwasher! i feel almost homeless here ha ha but we are having a lot of fun, we are tho running outta things to do cause our area is so small that we are talking to the same people over and over again. We are pretty good friends with the college kids now. This week went really well, Quinton Bengel is getting baptized this Saturday. We are so stoked. He is a 19 year old kid from Memphis and is a student at Tech. The lesson we taught him was so sweet and we went over the baptism interview questions with him and he didn't have a problem with any of them but he felt as if he needed to take out his diamond earrings so he said he would take them out before his baptism. I love the kid. Okay so you know how i had to take that testing for school, ya so I'm pretty sure the spirit bore testimony to me that i will never be an English teacher, i was so super board with the English part ha ha but it felt kinda good but weird. Last night we were walking around because we had about ten minutes left and we always talk to this guy who lives at the Methodist church, well the other day he told us that his wife wanted to feed us dinner but he didn't know when so he said when he talked to her he would come and find us. so last night we talked to him Mr. Parks and his wife was talking to him by the window so we went over to meet her and now we are going to have dinner at their house on Friday night. Their son Alex is one of our good buddies that we talk to quite a bit. So Elder Pearson is my district leader and his companion has kidney stones so he has been in the apartment quite a bit here in the last little bit and we wanted to go out and work and teach so i went with him to a lesson and then reimschiissel chilled in their apartment with elder garrison, but we went to teach the Barrett's family(mom and daughter) about the restoration and it went so well, The spirit was so strong and the mom pitched in some really legit doctrinal points that helped with the lesson. They also fed us pulled pork sandwiches with BBQ sauce. It was so good.

Life right now is really good, me and Reimschiissel are getting along really well and things are gonna start rolling here in a little bit. lately my studies have gotten really spiritual. I am studying the Atonement of Christ and i have been studying outta Leviticus 16 and Hebrews 9. Check them out. they are really good. it talks alot about the new covenant that would come about with the Death of Christ and the blood of the Testament(Covenant) seals the book and brings power to the Testament. I know Christ lives. my favorite quote lately "We don't use the cross as the symbol of our religion because that represents the dying Christ, The symbol of our religion is the lives the members of the Church live because Christ lives and and He lives within us" I know that is true, i know the book of Mormon is the word of God, and is here to do nothing but bless us if we only pick it up. I hope ya'll have a blessed week and may The Spirit of God bless ya'll this week.

Yep!

Okay so here we go.
Hi fam, this week has just flown by light dust in the wind. So this last week we had Zone conference. It was pretty good. We got to play touch football and pakistani one ball after it for a couple hours so i really really like that. We also met a really cool family that we are teaching. Izzy, Brenda and little chelsea. They love missionaries and they feel they need to go back to church. Its so sweet. Izzy is a hard core punk rocker chick and has some super psychedelic views about life. later this week we went over to Noel's house with his son eric and they fed us lunch and we hung with them for a little bit. They are both recent converts and are still super strong in the church. okay so check this out, we got invited to the Baptist Collegiate Ministries building to talk with the Head director of it and we talked for about and hour or so and he invited us back to talk with him some more. He is a cool guy. He is 26 and has a beautifuly wife and a kid on the way. He says he prays that we will teach truth and that we will find the right way. ha ha
So we are teaching this couple aaron and ashley reed right, he has some super huge holdups with some of our doctrine but he had a dream that made him cry, and now he feels he is on the right track. they fed us dinner and then we had a super spiritual lesson with them. So we went out tracking the other night and met this way cool guy sitting on his porch just rockin back and forth, so we went up to talk to him and we got into a big discussion about modern-day prophets and revelation and we taught him the Restoration of the gospel and then he invited us back tonight for another lesson. We are gonna try and set a date with him and his wife. Okay last story, we only had a couple of minutes left before dinner and we walked down 4th street and met this kid Jason, who was just stooping on his front porch. Well he is on his way through addiction recovery and he said he would come to church if we came and picked him up. Well we did and he came to church. Miracle. but he loved it and said he felt the spirit during sacrament meeting. He is 24 and is super cool. oh ya mom. i went to a doctor the other day cause i started to lose some air and had trouble breathing, we my allergies had gotten so bad that my lungs were super weak,,..........well i got a kenalog shot to get me back to normal yay ha ha but i feel great and happy and loving life. I love ya'll and hope yall have a blessed week.

GEN CON

Hi there family
THis week has been pretty nuts and im pretty sure that God has something to do with how fast time is going. THis weekend was Freakin sicky. i Loved General Conference. I have never gotten so much from a session then i did this last conference. My favorite talk was probably By Elder Foster of the seventy about ones that get lost but the End is always better than the beginning. i love the cow story. It was so good. but im sad cause this was my last Gen Con before i get back home. We watched conference at the church and there was only like 10 people that showed up but for the 1st time ever we had an investigator come to conf but he brought his wife to the priesthood session. It was so super awekward and weird but he was going to leave if she was so we told her to enjoy every second

Quick Week!

Hi ya'll
So not a lot of time today, i gotta stacked week ahead of me so this one is gonna be real quick. This week was a phenom of a week. Saturday was such sweet day. IN the morning time we helped a family move for a couple of hours and then we had a really big lunch, we had a bunch of pizza and soda, then we went out for a couple of hours to find new people to teach on campus. That evening we had dinner with a sweet sweet family and they had someone their for us to teach, Bronson is such a cool kid, he is gonna teach me how to pick a quitar and im gonna learn Come thou fount on the quitar. Then we went to a baptism and had one of our investigators there and he liked it, then we went to go find people the rest of the night. Oh ya, so elder kunz went to the hospital on saturday night cause his chest was killing him so we took him to the emergency room to figure out what the problem was with his chest, so we were their while they did the EKG and all that jazz, but like i said not too much is going on this week but we are working hard and finding a lot of new people to teach. I love ya'll and i promise there will be more next week

Hi fam!
So this week has flown the a jet. I tell you what. So monday after email, we went to the church and played basketball, im just outta shape as picaso! I was weezin like the pokemon, up and down the court all day. but i plan on getting back into shape really fast. I have already lost 8 pounds in the last 2 weeks. so im lookin pretty good. Tuesday we had Zone Conference and i gotta finally sit next to elder Humrich. don't worry, we were really quiet and good. It was all about going about our Fathers business. I really liked it. It was really weird not training or reporting or anything. I miss the heck outta it. So i was gonna call on hilary's birthday but i couldn't find a member's house to go over to and call her but i love you hil. I thought about you all day on wednesday. Happy 18th birthday. i can't believe ya'll are an adult now. So we drove out to baxter to go visit a referral and we drove past a bunch of hollars and ridges and then we made our way out to the Center Creek lake. Such a beautiful lake. we were so far out in the country. i love the country and the country folk. they are good people. Happy birthday to you too mom. Im glad that i got to call you. It was a lot of fun and the Zittings really enjoyed it too. I really like that family. their son ben is the coolest kid. Im trying my best to get him to alaska ha ha he would love it out there. So there other day we met with the coolest kids from TTU and we are trying to convince them to go on a mission. they are both from memphis but just livin life in college. both active members, they are just needing a push. So on friday it was so sweet, we went over the angela's and miranda's house to watch the Testament with them and they invited us back for dinner at 5 so we went back and had pork chops, mash taters, mac, stuffing, and then brownies for desert. and to top off the weekend we went and taught this kid who goe's to TTU and we taught him about the book of mormon and he doesn't know its true but is still reading it and we set a date for him to get dunked on April 24th. He is dating a member of the church and she is totally active. so that was really my week in a nutshell. It was a good week and Reimschiissel is doing so good. He is such a good missionary. He has a really big heart and we have so much fun together. I heard his mom called ya'll the other day. but like always buck up at sunup and smile and have a good week. I love ya'll.

Getting my new greenie!!

Another day in what I thought was Paradise!

Hi ya'll

So this week has been a diamond in the rough if i ever saw. So im in my new/last area Cookville. Its not so bad of a place, our whole entire area is about 6 square miles big. ha ha not the biggest place in the world to serve. We tend to talk to a lot of the same people. We are having a good time, Me new greenie is Elder ReimSchiissel the hizzle my nizzle pick up and drop for rizzle ha ha He is from St. George UT. We have been having a lot of fun walking. It been really rainy the last 4-5 days and biking just aint that fun in the rain when its 40 degrees. But we are on a full time bike/walk area so no car. Its weird going from 6 months of straight sitting on my butt driving to 3 months of straight walking. it should be good though. THe other morning we went running(1st time since bowling Green) we ran 5 miles believe it or not. We went running with Elder Velazquez and His comp. Elder V. Plays soccer for Real Salt lake ha ha he is such a cool kid.So this week has been rough with teaching people because we dont know anybody but this week should be a little bit better. So at church yesterday the sisters invited this girl jana to churhc. Big Big black baptist lady. Well someone knew that she played the piano and she was asked to provide the prelude music at church. Well the church got a little more than they bargained for. Out of nowhere she started in on this big Praise God the Almighty and Jesus Song. She definately sings in her choir but it was just like in the movies and it was the best thing i have seen at church my whole mission. I almost died laughing but good thing i was in the back with some non-members. ha ha but thats about how exciting my week has been. I love ya'll and i will def have more updates next week.

The Final New Address in Cookville...

19 South Jefferson Ave. #210

Cookeville, TN 38501

Talk about stretch marks!

Hey There Family
So i got a call from The President Doctor and He told me i was PREGNANT! ha ha ha Im gonna be training again but not as a ZL. IM going to be opening a new area in Cookville(burgess falls) its gonna be so sweet. Don't worry i didnt do something dumb to get kicked outta ZL-ship. Im super stoked to go to that area. Im gonna miss Spring Hill though. it has been a lot of fun serving here. So this week has been freakin nutso. we did a lot of finding this last week and found some really good new investigators but i wont have a chance to teach them. Friday morning we had to get up at 4:00 and drive an hour to go pick up one of the new assistants, he is such a muggins, haha and then we had to drop off his companion in franklin, and then drive to brentwood for a 8 hours ZLC meeting. it was so super long, but we played games and had a good ol' time. we didnt get home til like 5 and then we went straight to dinner with the coolest confederate son ever ha ha the dude is so rad he is a member of the KKK down here and is super biased against the North of the Yank's haha he hates em. Sunday was probably one of the best days ever. I finally got up and bore my testimony. ITs been forever. There were only like 70 people the so that was not bad and the whole rest of the day we had a good time. We took pics with the hadaway family(my favorite family here) and they bought us kit kats because we are now all in the KKK (kit Kat Krew) ha ha it was way funny i'll send the pics next time. After church we went to go see ashley and try and get here to accept a baptism date so we pushed it off a couple of weeks but she will be good to go on the 27th of the month and after that we got a message from the ivey's and we went and said goodbye and had a good time with them and the then this family invited us over for sunday lunch/dinner and we played air hockey i whooped Mckensie ha ha she did beat me tho at the last second on one of the games and all was way fun we played with their ginny hens and tried to catch them and just had a good sunday. but thats about it for the week, nothing too excited going on. I love ya'll and hope yall have a blessed week.

What a week!

Hey ya'll
I gotta tell ya'll this has been such a fun week to be a missionary. Lots of things are happenin here in Spring Hill. We had a baptism on Thursday. Randy Wills is such a cool guy. The baptism lasted 10 minutes. He didn't want talks or anything he just wanted to get dunked and thats it. So thats all we did. His in-laws drove in from utah and his father-in-law baptized him. So last monday walking through electronic express some guy came up to me and asked me if i wanted a job. He said he would just let us start today cause we were dressed up all NIce and stuff. but i told him BOY i gots the best job in the World.ha ha monday night we were brushing our teeth in the bathroom and we realized it was 10:30 exactly so we hurry and spit out our paste and prayed right there on the bathroom floor. ha ha the things you do as a missionary!! Tuesday we were down in a place called chapel hill which is a super country place where everyone there is homebread souther country folk. they are the nicest people we serve around but we went to sonic to get some lunch and our bishop owns it, so were ordered our food and the girl came out and was all happy and giddy and i told her i needed to pay for it and she was like oh no you don't! and skated away so we got free lunch. it was so ballin. Wednesday i have never been so full in my life. We ate at La Hacienda for lunch and got a huge platter of who knows what, then recent convert took us out to O'Charley's for a snack and a lesson, welll i ended up having a 7ounce steak with a salad and sweet potato fries, and homemade raspberry lemonade, and then 2 hours later for dinner , we had carrot Soup YUCK MCGUCK! it was nasty and then she gave us a cornicopia of spaghetti, i got about halfway through and thought i was gonna implode ha ha Friday we met a family of 9 that we are now teaching, they are so cool, they have met with missionaries in the past so they should be good to go here in a couple of months if not weeks. sunday was a really good day, after church we went to the Penningtons and had a super fun time with their family, oh yeah before i forget, our bishop rebuked the ward for not feeding us everyday so he personally took it upon himself to make sure that was getting done. We have 16 dinnners in a row now, so there is no chance of weightloss for the next couple 3 weeks. but sunday afternoon we ate dinner with a family of 13 ja ja it was so fun. I love big fams. but really thats all that happened this week. Hope all ya'lll are having a blessed week! i love ya'll

Another day in Paradise!

So there i was, tuesday night...............
okay so the super sweet story of the week is this, so there we were, we just got out of an appointment with a recent convert and we had 2 messages from our bishop. !st on said. "hey elders call me back" 2nd one said "elders i have a baptism for you next week, call me back" a little background on this guy Randy Wills, He has been coming to church for 6 years, his wife is a member, He has had callings in the primary and all sorts of good things like that. He called up the bishop and told him that he was super sick of being stubborn and he knew the church was true and he wanted to get dunked. So we went over to his house on Saturday night and did the baptismal interview with him and he is ready to buck up at sun up on Thursday! He is such a cool guy. So this whole week has been in the 40-60 degrees range but supposed to get cold again this week and then stay warm til summer HA. We just bought stuff for the Grill and we are gonna start grillin with the neighbors every monday for p-day. Its gonna be sweet. So me and Elder Rigby found this new cool place to start working. Its called chapel hill Tennessee, its only a 35 minute drive to get there, and its straight country if i ever saw, but the people out there are so sweet. Those kinda people out there are homebread country style people, good hearted, and God blessed people. I love the South. no better country. We rode with a guy this last week who hates the Yankee's. He calls the war between the North and South, The war of the Northern Agression. He is a confederate thru and thru ha ha So i just found out that the KKK was founded 1 hour away from where we live. THere is so much history here in the south. Its fun to hear the stories of all the peeps who grew up out here since the stone age. We had interviews with President and We also had Zone Conference all on the same day so friday morning we were up at 5 getting ready for it and then on Saturday we got up early to play tennis for our work out, and Then........Comes sunday where we are up at 5-5:15 ish. THose make for super long days but church was way sweet. oh Schwendiman clan, ya'll need to do some family research, cause there are quite a few Schwendimans living here in the Great south. There are some in Hole-in-wall tennessee, and one in Franklin, and some in brentwood Tennessee. Imma try and get out to Hole-in-wall to see those one and see how country our family is. Im glad to know i not the only dumb redneck in the family now. I got comroderies with me now! I love ya'll and hope ya'll are blessed.

It's still cold!

Hey Ya'll

So right now its snowing here for the 3rd week in a row. THis weather is actin all sorts of crazy right now. THis last week was a really good week. We Set a date with this girl named ashley L. She is such a cool girl and she is super stoked to get baptized. She is going in the water March 13th so here in about 4 weeks. I went out with brand new missionary in the zone Elder Hathaway and i took him down south for the day to show him real country and we taught her Gospel of Christ and she loved everything about it and she has no objection of getting wet! Church almost got cancelled on sunday because of the snow. It gets so bad out here that no one can get outta the driveway to get to church cause no one out here has 4x4 cars and it gets super icy and nobody knows how to drive out here. ha ha They have had us park the cars for the day so now we get to walk and freeze our little butts off haha Yesterday we got asked to stand in a circle for an advancement to The office of Elder. Is was super cool. So yesterday we got fed like we were kings. at 2 we had treats with a family, and then at 4 we had tacos for dinner with a way sweet family, and then at 6 we had brownies with a ballin family and then at 8 we did the same thing with the coolest family ha ha we were stuffed but other than that we just walked and tried to find new people to teach. We got ZC this week and interviews the same day so it should be really busy. Can yall believe that mitch gets home in like 4 days. That ridiculous. Hope all is well and hope all ya'll enjoyed NSA(National Singles Awareness) day and all that jazz. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

a week i can't remember

Whats shinin ya'll....
So there i was Sunday morning, waking up to an alarm set for 4:30, in THE A.M.! We had stake coorelation that we had to be to the stake center at 6:00 and its a 35 minute drive. So that started out what i know now to be, the longest Day of my life. After stake coorelation we went to the church which is an hour away from the stake center to go have our PEC meeting with the Bishopric. We told them that we were going to have a baptism that afternoon but biship said "i got a call from her inlaws saying to postpone the baptism til a week later" just because they didn't want to miss the super bowl. So dumb! but we ended up just havin the baptism anyway. She said she didn't care if they came or not so.... we did it. It was so awesome. Her name is Kelly Connelly. She is such a cool lady. She had us over for a celebritory dinner saturday... it was so good it was pretty much thanksgiving all over again. The baptims went really good, not a whole lot of turn out but on the next one we will have the whole ward. We made a deal that if kelly would keep the word of wisdom we would walk with her every monday, wed, and friday morning. she wants to get back in shape, oh ya so do i ha ha so its a good thing we go down to walk with her. So you will never belive what i did... I worked on a farm last week. ha ha city boy is gettin dirty. We fed the cows while stompin thru the mud, we fed the goats and got to play around with the baby ones, we cut down a ton of wood for this baptist guy and then he fed us some bomb chili. Homemade chili out here is a little bit of heaven if i ever knew. but other than that i cant think of what we did. I was so tired when i got up this morning that i cant even think straight ha ha but God Bless and ya'll take care

Snowy Paradise!

This pic is me getting ready to go Royaly Freezy my butt off!
Hello
So not much happened this week.... Sad day... So i got into my new area on tuesday and that afternoon i had to stay in Pulaski Tennessee to give a baptismal interview. This place was in the stick, i mean it was so far outta town we had no reception on the phone or nothin. I talked with this guy out in the middle of the forest next to a river, it was super chill. Then i was on exchanges for the next couple of days. We had such a super awkward ride home with a guy who is not a mute but HATES to talk. So on Friday night we got a giant snow storm and a mini ice storm here. It was so sweet. All of saturday we were confined to our apartment. Super boring. all we did was clean the place spotless and studdied. Yesterday we got to shovel a bunch of people out of their driveways. My arms are super tired. but we had a lot of fun doing it. but hey hope ya'll have a good week and just know i love you.

Fondue is good, Goodbye's are gay!

Hey there schwendy fam
This week has been so nutso. IM being kicked outta Nashville. Its so stupid, i wanted to stay here forever. but whatev. Im going now to the Franklin Zone to Serve with Elder Rigby ha ha yes my 2nd boy, still a ZL ha ha its super weird serving with my boys twice. we are gonna have so much fun though. So last night i went over to the Andersons(tim and connie) to go say my last goodbye to them and i was so sad to leave them. they are my closest friends i think on my mission. they are such a cool family. IM def gonna come back to visit them. So as far as missionary work her in Nashville is going we have 11 people we are actively teaching at the moment and 5 of them came to church. Its been a long time since i have had that many people at church. it stinks im leaving when so much is going on. Neubert is gonna set all the dates this week. :( lame sauce but my bishop in Spring Hill owns a couple of sonic's so now i get more half off food, he also does our dry cleaning and buys our groceries ha ha but im only gonna be there for 6 weeks,i have requested to train my last couple of transfers and president said he could work it out that way so im pretty stoked. Elder Neubert is scared to be the Lead ZL in the area, he is getting a freshy(7months) so he should be alright. I have a really good Zone that im going to, but im not going to get attached to the ward cause im leaving it soon anyway. so all i have to do is work hard and stay under the radar! but other than that life is super good. We hung out with President this morning in his office and we were looking/playing around with his board. ha ha it was fun but i love ya'll and hope all is blessed. God bless AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!

Nerfed Out!

Me, Elder Humrich and Elder Tanner

Nerf Crew!
Hey there Fam.
This week has been super busy but really not a whole lot to report on. The first part of the week was really boring and slow. We have spent a lot of our time trying to find people on bishops list that he doesn't know and knocking a lot of doors. I love tracting for some reason. I wish we did it more often. we have found a couple of people we are consistantly teaching now and we should be setting a couple of dates here in a minute. On tuesday night we had such a kickin meeting with our ward mission leader and assistant ward mission leader and all the ward misisonaries about how we are going to run this ward ha ha we have set up a plan on paper of how all the members this year will receive a PMG member visit. Its so tight and our WM's are going to take care of all the scheduling for us so that takes quite a bit off our plate. We have exchanges every week at least 4-5 people come out with us every week. its so much fun. We meet on a regular basis to talk about who we teach and who they are finding. I love this ward because everyone is so headstrong its crazy. I spent half the week in smithsprings with our district leaders and we had so much fun. The 1st thing we taught people was our belief in the GodHead. John 14:1 is the best way that i have found to depict the separation of God the Father and Christ. Yesterday we went to the church and Played "Desert Limb" Nerf battle war. ha ha it so tight. We have like 10 guns between us and the Spanish Zl's and the other missionaries that came and played. If you get shot in any limb, that body part goes limp and is useless, 1 head shot your dead and 2 body shots and your out. its so much fun. We played in the primary/nursery room that has 4 dividers and we had like chairs and tables set up to hide behind. it was so much fun but im as sore as "a no-legged man climbing a rope" ha ha my body is super sore but i love ya'll and hope ya'll have a good week. May God be with Ya'll Always

Colder than a popsicle in the Artic!!

hey there my eskimo family!
The white people and black people are freezing out here. Its so cold. this week the lows for 4 days was 9 degrees. IT SNOWED HAHAHAHAHA we got an inch of beauty. oh and it didn't help that the mission had to park all the cars for a couple of days so we look like a couple of taliban members walking in the streets, all you can see is our eyeballs. It was kinda funny that nobody waved to us. but we stayed warm. I was on exchanges this week and the elder I was with, i took him walking 5 miles in the freezing cold. ha ha it sucked but was super good times. So on monday i went to the Cheese Cake Factory for lunch with Elder Humrich and tanner. they are sweet. I got a fatty burger and then a Dulce De Leche caramel cheese cake that was off the hook. i love that place but its too expensive for mission status. So for my birthday it was just like any other birthday on the mission just full of missionary work. I don't feel any different being 21 than a did at 20. Im still legal to do anything as a Mormon. ha ha i can't even rent a freakin car. thats such a lame rule. Today we are having a big DLC with our district leaders and we are going to the church to have a giant NERF war. Its gonna be kickin. but thats about it for the week not too much going on right now cause we are adjusting to some new policies that the mission has put out and some new regulations. but we will adjust quickly and then move on. but i love ya'll and hope yall have a blessed week.

Its snowing! just 10 days too late!‏

Zone P-day in Nashville

Good snowy morning family.
When i got up this morning it was snowing but not the Utah snowing. the snow here is featherweight and when it hits the ground it disappears but its still snowing. This whole week has been in the high teens low 20's. It super cold right now but thank goodness we have a car or i would not have ears, a nose or lips. Im alsmost as cold as Audrey on Christmas vacation when they go cut down the thpirit of the grithwald family chrithmath tree! ha ha she looks ridiculously cold. but this week has been a lot of fun. We set 2 baptism dates with this girl melissa and her 9 year old daughter. its so sweet. she really likes the book of mormon but she is hard to get a hold of so we will see what happens. We had a really good 1st discussion with her and she really felt the spirit and you could totally see her countenance change. Thats one of the most rewarding things as a missionary is seeing someones life change right before your eyes. its happened to me several times and i want more and more of those to come. On friday we had a freakin huge party with the whole zone. There were 16 missionaries and we played volleyball, basketball, pakistani one ball, and we watched "Wall-E" twice ha ha that is one of the funniest movies i have seen. elder haire said it was one of the stupidest movies but he is just too big boy for those movies. my favorite line is "if you want it, come and get it blinky" ha ha i died laughing the whole movie. I love the fat people more than anything. President Funded dinner for us so we had some really good pizza and we funded the drinks and the popcorn. Saturday we had Zone Leaders council which was off the hook. We had a lot of doctrinal based lessons and then we play a couple of games to teach us lessons. it was so ballin. oh ya mom Elder Rigby is now a ZL ha ha both my boys are ZL's. i wanna aks president if i can at least train 1 more time before i go home. that is the funnest thing to do as a missionary. but thats about it. today im treating myself to a nice lunch at the CheeseCake factory of GreenHills ha its gonna be so good. Im gonna get me some terimisue cheescake and all that good stuff. but i love ya'll hope ya'll had a blessed New Years. can you believe its 2010 already? that blows my mind. but hey i love you and take care and may God bless all ya'll forever.
