Another Week!

Well look what the cat drug in. 
Hi there family.
This week has been oober busy for me and elder rigby. We have done a ton of biking and its been the hottest week already. its been High 90's-low 100's with 80-90% humidity. Its hotter than a horses behind gettin' branded if ya'll know what i mean. Okay so on Tuesday night we had basketball at the church from 7:45-9:20. Well when we got into the parking lot there were already 3 big black guys with tats all over their bodies and they wanted to play some ball. So we let them play. Well my team lost the first game and then we shot for new teams and my team was so sicky. It was me and 3 big black guys with mad tats. ha ha its was so ridiculous. I threw the sweetest ally-oop to one of them and he totally did this sick back dunk. and then they banned dunking because he was to legit to quit. Playing ball is way fun in the CSA. So at district meeting at the close of the meeting Elder Movey was saying the prayer and someone farted so loud. and it was like a train reaction. Someone giggled and snorted and then someone else and then me and we all lost it. it was so bad i know but it was hilarious. After District meeting we went to Downtown BG and watched a member of the 1st ward play with his band. Its was really cool. We were only there for like 40 minutes cuz we got their late. Check out The Thornz on the internet. Lindsey Lea is the lead singer. alright this is the story of the week. This one is for the records. So me and Elder Davidson were on exchanges this week and we went to deliver a Finding Faith in Christ DVD to Odette Rogers who had ordered on off the TV. Well we had a member pick us up and take us over there. She asked us what we believed about Christ and we taught her what we believed. Then Her parents got to the house and they talked to us and we talked back and then odette asked us what we believed about prayer and brother Stucki (our member who is like 100 years old) explained prayer quite nicely. well odette continued on and Told us a story about how Mary the mother of Jesus had a baby and how He died and that he was coming back and that he had to be born again. Well she was all emotional over it and he parents tried to keep her from talking. Well she said she was not supposed to tell anyone but she was like " I cant tell ya'll when he is coming back" and once again her parents tried to keep her silenced. She was silent for a second and then she tried to tell us that she was Mary. When she said that the spirit took off and was outta there. and then like 20 seconds later we said our goodbye's and we booked it outta there. When we got back to the car all me and Elder Davidson could do was bust a gut. IT was so funny. Then after wards, (this is how old JR Stucki is) he was like she has some great potential. I could see her being baptized soon. Its totally went over his head like wind. ha ha he is a good guy. Im pretty ticked off that the "King of Pop" died. Michael Jackson is such a stud. I think that doc was putting too much demerol into his system. but thats just me. Some with Okay now for the bad news. Emmanuel and his family don't wanna come to church anymore. E's wife does not like the church at the moment and she wont come and he doesn't wanna come just by himself. So he is not getting "baftized" on saturday but we are still working with him. he believes in the book of mormon and knows its true he just wants to wait for his wife too. So pray for them. Okay back to the good news Tim Heyes came to church yesterday. IT was so good. He said it was different but "its gonna take some getting used to" referring to coming back to church every week so that he can get used to it. He is such a cool guy. He is so Southern. He has Nascar all over his house. ON friday i met this guy who played football for the UofU. He is such a cool guy. His name is Michael Douglas and he wants to take me golfing on a country club course here in BowlingGreen. Its like a 200 dollar course. iTs gonna be so sweet. On Saturday we taught this Church of Christ guy Steerling. He is way cool. We talked about The Plan of Salvation with him and he loves it but he still doesn't wanna believe the Book of Mormon because there is no physical proof like there is with the Bible. but we are slowly getting into him. We left him with the Restoration DVD so he could watch that and feel the spirit. We taught a Recent Convert last night about Putting on the Whole armor or God. ITs was a lot of fun. mom do ya'll have any cut outs i could use for that. If not i'll free draw some. Hows elder Baker doin? Havent heard from him in a while. When does he go home? Next time you see him tell him i miss his ace and the he needs to write me back. I love y'all so much and yes i am glad to live in a country where we have freedoms. Sometimes out here i wish everyone was LDS but at the same time there would be no need for missionaries. I love this COuntry and i love this gospel. Have an awesome and safe week everybod. well hey there Fam!
How does it feel to have a new member of your Family! Elder Jordan Michael Rigby is such a stud. He has such a solid Testimony of the gospel and is probably the most humble companion i have ever served with. He is from Medford Oregon, and he is here on temporary assignment while he gets his visa to go to bangalor India! how flippin nuts would that be. He doesn't get a car or a bike. He gets to walk around his whole mission. Its really hot there. He is really excited to go. He was more nervous to come here and deal with all the "crazy" baptists, than going to india to teach Hindu's. He is a really good kid and we get along so well. Its so hard training a missionary, its easier than my first boy but still pretty hard just trying to remember all the stuff he needs to know. Im SOOOOOOOOOOOO tired! ha ha im working him to death. We bike a ton whenever we are on bikes and i never stop. ha ha he loves it though. I think after these first few weeks i'll slow down just enough so he can catch his breath. oh ya so Elder moses got transferred early to another area. its just me and Elder Rigby. we have had a really busy week. We have picked up some former investigators, and we are teaching them now. Emmanuel and his family ditched out on church on sunday. I was so irate! i had really high hopes of them coming. The family that was set to pick them up, never showed up to church either. That was really frustrating, but other than that we had a really good week. ITs been in the 90's all week and just been scorching hot. We are gonna still be in the 90's but with thunderstorms on the watch. IM getting really used to BowlingGreen. I know this place like the back of my hand too. we are totally playing frolf today. Im gonna show the GReenie hows its done. He is a realy big kid. He is like 5'8" but like 185 just really stalky! He played water polo in highschool and football. He has one older sister who just got married like 1 month ago. So right before he left. We have interviews with President H. on Wednesday, so that should be a lot of fun. Transfers are tuesday so we will get a new roommate on Tuesday. That should be exciting. Well fam, i hope ya'll have a bomb week. Oh ya dad i met this guy who is a financial analysist and he knows about HSG and all that jazz and he knows about Great American. he is a cool guy. We are teaching him on Saturday. Well i love you once again. Be safe and God bless.

I got a call from president Hutchings yesterday morning and he told me transfers were gonna be a little early for me. He told me he needed me to train a "visa waiter" (someone waiting for a visa) I get him on wednesday. Im so excited to train again. Most likely he will be going to Australia. That would be so rad. The Elder is coming straight from the MTC to here. its gonna be so much fun. I will be here until August now. This week has been really busy. We have had 3 storms that were off the charts! it was so cool. A couple of days ago we were eating at the Dunda's house for dinner and when we left we were driving and we heard the Tornado siren go off and that means get the heck inside. So we turned around and went back to the dunda's house and stayed there til the Tornader passed. There was flash flooding and all sorts of goodness. I have the storms on camera so ya'll can see them when ya'll get the card. Sorry i haven't sent it home. Im trying to get to a post office to send it home. I had my ortho appointment and Dr. Compton did really well. It was really quick and effecient. I was very pleased with how he did it. Thanks so much for putting that money in the account. Im trying to not spend money. But my tooth is back in place and we are ready to roll. Okay way cool story of the week. WE SET A BAPTISM DATE! ha ha Emmanuel Kaizer. HE is the coolest guy. He is a refugee from Lyberia africa. We got a text message with his info and we went over there and taught him a 1st lesson(restoration) we didn't get to finish the lesson so we cam back 2 days later and finished it and extended a baptism commit to him and he accepted it and is now gonna be baptized on July 4th. Way cool huh. Him and his wife are gonna get dunked together. We just have to teach her a little bit. but they came to church yesterday. Him and his wife and their 2 daughters. The daughters loved church and wanna come back so bad. I love this family They like to feed us really hot food. The reason africans are in such good shape is that they eat really hot food that will go through them in 2 hours. We americans cant handle that hotness and it goes through me so fast. but they don't eat sweets either. They are in way good shape. but thats all really for this week. Training, Flash floods Zone Conference was amazing by the way. It was really good and we had a lot of good speakers come. I love them. and no i didn't get to see Elder Beck. Different Zone! but oh well. Have an awesome week and hope all goes well. Just know that im happy and Having a blast on this side of the mississippi! I love ya'll with all my heart. Best family ever

What a week!

What you know good Fam!
I know its beautiful in Kentucky right now. The weather here is so awesome. Last Thursday me and Elder moses were out tracting but it wasn't raining too hard, well ten minutes into it, it was a straight up down pour. IT was nuts, we were running from house to house soaking wet, everything on me was soaked even my shoes(but they are dry right now.) but it was so much fun, we just couldn't help but laugh at the situation we were in. and THen Friday we got caught in a second storm where the exact same thing happened but we found a family of 6 to teach so that was a huge bonus of walking in the rain. We also found a less active family, and a Member family that we had no idea lived over there so it was a really good day. 
We are teaching this guy russ who has been to prison 4 times once for killing someone, and the others were for trying to kill someone. He loves to draw pics of the devil and like grim reapers and naked girls, but we taugt him a lesson and told him he needed to take the pics off the walls if he wanted the spirit in his home and the whole time we were talking to him he just paced back and forth taking the pics off the walls, He is going to draw us a pic of Jesus Christ and Brother Smith on the same Piece of canvas. other than that he is a way cool guy just got a lot of anger problems. HE wants to get baptized but he is gonna have to get interviewed by one of the Brotheren if he goes through with it. I also gave him a cd that was a gospel cd but wasn't too boring so that he would like it. Ya'll would like it. Look up jayden Lavik (life on the inside) He said he felt the spirit when he listened to it. I really hope he gets baptized.
So i fasted for the whole day yesterday. Nuts huh? its so hard for me to fast but i really enjoyed it yesterday. I actually bore my testimony too. Thats the first time in who knows how long(without acutually having to give a talk) I forgot some things and i wanted to go up there for a second time. Ha ha i have never seen it done ever. have y'all? I think i might do the unthinkable next time and do it twice. That would be sweet. OTher than that......OH yeah i got some more Amish Jam. I got a jar for ya'll that imma send home here in a minute. We came up with this new saying for Peanut Butter and Amish Jam. Okay you ready. P-BAJ( sound like PeeBadge) ha ha doesn't that sound way funny. I think it does. We fam i hope ya'll had a good week and a good one to come. Transfer is half over already nutso. I love y'all so much. I know that God lives and that He loves us so much.

Hey there Sweet Family
This week has gone by really pretty fast considering. But everything did not go as planned. We have never had so much opposition in this area, then we had this week. It was ridiculous. The date we have with michelle dropped because she wont come to church. Her Fiance is in prison and the only days she can go see him is every sunday and every other saturday. But she wont give up 2 sundays so that she can get dunked. ITs just ridiculous. But whatev. Thursday was really fun. Me and Elder Bennett burned our shirts. We had like a 5 foot flame coming off the shirts. We used a lot of charcoal lighter fluid to soak them. They lit up so fast ha ha. Way too fun and yes mom i did take some pics for you. Im also gonna send home my card here in a minute when i get a chance. Brother Higdon is nuts. ha ha i love the guy though. He does a lot to help the missionary work move forward. He is a good guy. We have interviews with President on Tuesday. ITs weird to think i only have 12 left with him. ha ha Time just goes by too quick. I hear its pretty warm their. Its like 91 right now, so its pretty dang warm. very humid too. Thats so cool to hear how good HIlary is doing. Its gonna be hard to live in her shadow. Ha just playin. Im proud of her and how far she is already in life. That would be awesome to Meet President Monson. tell hilary to send me her hand so i can shake it and then ill send it right back to her. Ok don't really but.................Seriously. So i have lost like 8 pounds. Im 174 now. nuts huh im up like 30 pounds from the Mtc. I love southern food. THats too bad about Janes horse. Thats cool to hear about alex. Did ya'll get to talk to her and see how she is doing. Tell her hi for me next time ya'll are up there. Shout out to Grandma Maureen "i love you grandma, thanks so much for the package and for the amazing cookies." Thanks to you too mom for the bomb package. That was so funny having everything half full. ha ha Kinda made me sad to think i only have 1 year left. I got too much to do to only have 1 year. The GPS works like a charm. Ya'll are too nice to me. IM having something made for the family so it should be finished in like 1-2 weeks. I think ya'll will really like it. Well have a great week. We are gonna have some great lessons this week as well. Don't bo and blake get home soon? Thats nuts to think about. Oh yeah i spoke in church yesterday. There is just something about being in front of tons of people and having to give an assigned talk. Makes me nervous as all get out. I went okay i spoke for like 22 minutes or something other. It was on unity and brotherhood. I spoke about being unified with Christ, Families, and as a Priesthood body. Well i love being a missionary. I know i have a Heavenly Father who lives and loves Me as well. I know this is His Work.
