President hutchings called me on Saturday and asked me if i would train a new missionary. I am so stoked for it. I have so much responsibility on me now. Its crazy. I GET to look over a sweet district and train a new missionary. Okay, so last night for dinner we ate at the Ramirez family. Well the cooked a whole turkey for us along with mashed potatoes, Stuffing, Gravy, peas, Rolls, Cranberries, maccaroni, juice, cake and ice cream. and then after that we went and ate at brother Lee's house. he and his family are from Laos! They Fed us Stir Fry. So the only way to get a Hmong name in the community is you have to eat one of these peppers that they have. Super hot. ya'll know i can't do spicy very well. Well i ate one cuz i wanted a name. I will get the name next sunday. But it was so hot. my mouth and lips were on fire. I was so cold and shakey after eating it too. ha ha so not too much is going on except mikes baptism is going on Friday. Im so excited. he is so ready. Keep praying. We will see some great success here soon. Hey so the weather here has been 50's for quite a bit of time. ITs really nice. Its starting to warm up though and now i have to bust out the short sleeve shirts! ah! Im not holding 170 very well. Im at 175 ha ha but i work out so its not all fat. I do dips using a chair and i do incline push ups. those suck! but hey its fun to work out! I will take a lot of pics of me and my new comp. Me and elder Asay got into it the other night! dang that pride. I hate it. thats such a hard thing to let go. Im getting a lot better though. Thats cool hilary is going to all these dances. i had fun for the most part. I have only got to go to the Temple Twice. Once for a session and then once for a sealing. Next one is in like may or something other but i love ya'll oh and im going back up to paducah on saturday to help out again so ill be taking my camera for sure.

Hey ya'll
Sorry i don't have much to say really. Its been a really good week i got to go to the temple on Saturday and witness the greatest power known to man. I got to see a sealing. Thank you mom and dad for staying faithful to the covenants ya'll have made. It really means so much to me. Mike jones is still on for baptism on the 27th so pray for him. We might be setting another this week so pray for us. Um dad that book of mormon thing sounds good and congrats on giving that to Carlos. Now the spirit gets to teach him. But mom can I get a copy of all the efy's and the motabs if possible. Im going to be sending my ipod home. I don't ever use it any more and i don't want it to get ruined.

Ps. Pray for Jeremy. His old girlfriend was killed in a car wreck this weekend coming home from Snow. thanx

Got to see Kentucky this week!

hey there!
Did i ever tell you i love you! okay well i do. So this week has been alright. My comp is being trunky poopy way bad. All he does for studies is plan out the rest of his life. so lame. So i get 2 hours of personal study every morning. Im just about done with 2 Nephi. I started the book of mormon over again. I have a cool book of mormon i wanna show you in 16 months. I think ya'll will like it. I have studied with it the last six months. but im learning so much every time i read that book. best book in the world. Im glad ya'll are having so much fun gossiping about us missionaries. ha ha ya'll are the best group of moms in the world. Tell elder Baker hi for me and tell him i miss his guts. Tell him im in the gall because he is so trunky! ha ha. So dads getting a physical this morning. ha ha i hate those. Elder Bennett is pretty good and his grennie is so smart. He is pre-trained. I have had several people tell me im traing this transfer. That would be nuts. It would be so much fun. I still miss my trainer. Im so glad Trey is doing so well. Such a good kid. Hilary sent me a pic of her and her date. She is getting too cute! Keep a sharp eye on that girl. I should get ya'lls package soon hopefully and i promise i will get to the post office today and send that card off. Sorry i have been so lax about it. My comp goes home the 24th. Give park a happy birthday hug for me and tell him happy birthday for me. On saturday me and my district and another district and like 180 members of our stake and the Paducah Kentucky stake went to kentucky to help out with the ice storm that destroyed Paducah. It was like something that you see on the news and discovery channel. There was so much wreckage and all the trees were split in half and the power lines were rocked and everything was torn to pieces. we were up there for 12 hours helping clear the wreckage. Me and Elder Beck were put together. We got so much done. It was so nuts. The lady that we cleaned for was the owner of a bed and breakfast place and she had like 20 acres or torn up trees. She offered me and my wife a free weekend there if i want when i get off my mission. She is such a sweet lady.  well nothing new.  I love ya'll with all mi corazone Dallin

Best Week in a Long Time

Hi there,
This week has been the best in a long time. We are starting to see some success in this area. A couple of days we went over to Mike jones house to set a baptism date with him. we wasn't ready but we gave him a few dates to pray about and he said he would and then we set up a meeting for us to meet right before church. well we met before church and we asked him if he had prayed about a date. He was like before we talk i need to ask ya'll something. He said " why do ya'll have such an intrest in me" ya'll have only know me for like 3 weeks and already you want so much for me "why?" we both explained how much the gospel has blessed us and how much we want it for other people. He was like thats "cool" and then he said "god wants me to be baptized on the 27th of February" The spirit confirmed that that was truly the date he was getting baptized. Im so excited for him. as for everything else its going pretty well. I don't get sick for some reason, i might wake up with a little head ache but thats about it. My anti-bodies are wicked strong. im glad that ya'll had such a good time with Carlos and his family. ya'll are amazing Member- missionaries. Can I clone both of ya'll and bring a copy out here for the work. We would baptized the world with ya'lls help. well i love you and hope all is going well.
